And that’s my reading list before I even *start* poking around the web to see what looks interesting.We got our client assignment for Tourism Product Development and the site visit is to Gettysburg to meet with staff members of the
Gettysburg Foundation. We’ll also have a tour of the National Cemetery, tour the town, go on a ghost tour and have a tour of the battlefield. I really wish the
Daniel Lady Farm was a part of the tour, but that will have to be a separate visit.
I’m not a huge Civil War buff, but I’m looking forward to this. I’ll have to see how many of Tony Horwitz’ sentiments I agree with.
