I’ve been focusing a lot on scale victories because they’re something quantifiable. Measaurable. Speaking of which, I’m due to do my measurements. In the interim though, I’ve noticed a lot of other changes. NSVs. Non Scale Victories.
* In addition to my collarbones, I also have knee caps and hip bones. The latter surprised me the most when I laid down on the floor one night. Ow, that’s not so comfortable any more. Guess it’s good that I have a futon now. In college I always used to study laying on the floor.
* Face shape. Is that a SV or an NSV. Not sure, but I could never before pull off short hair. My face is still round/heart-ish but it’s so much narrower than it used to be.
* Skirts. Wearing one for 3rd day in a row and 5th time in last two weeks. All with NO SHORTS. Wow. If you are or have been heavy, you know the thigh rub thing. So uncomfortable in summer. Today is 97 and humid so it’s a little uncomfortable, but still no shorts. I also never used to be a skirt person at all. Wonder if that’s a weight loss thing?
I haven’t seen the day-to-day changes in myself but I look back at how I looked in March a photo I took of myself yesterday (not yet posted) or even a couple of weeks ago, I see it.
