I said to a friend that this trip to Israel might just make me update this. I’ve been meaning to all week. Israel is *fabulous* and I already have a next-time to-do list 
*Temple Mount - Lonely Planet says it’s possible, in practice it didn’t seem so and I didn’t have sufficient time to explore.
*Bethlehem, Jericho… - we just ran short on time and after the trying time at the Jordanian/Israeli border at Aqaba/Eilat, I decided I wasn’t up for trying to access the West Bank. Next time.
*Masada (again!) when it’s cooler.
