I was waiting for the train to Penn this morning at EWR when I noticed two nervous looking travelers. Turned out they’d just arrived from Israel and were a little disoriented/jet-lagged/uncertain. On the train from EWR to NY Penn another joined us and I helped the trio navigate to Amtrak ticket sales, as well as an older Israeli couple to the “E” train. The “leader” (more outgoing, more English) of the defacto trio thanked me profusely and told me I was doing a mitzvah.
