By Cari, on September 25th, 2010% So it turns out I wasn’t as back on track as I thought I was. Last night was Celebrate Naz, which I love. Being 350 miles from my undergrad, I don’t have many opportunities to connect with Naz. The NYC alumni chapter is extremely inactive, but I found out about this event last week and the location was perfect. I couldn’t not go. I was by far the youngest with the next youngest graduation class six years before I was born What I was fascinated by was a woman from the class of 1943. 1943. Active as ever, volunteering at . . . → Keep Going: Fat Girl Day // Back on Track (Redux)
By Cari, on August 23rd, 2010% last week was a wonderful and well-earned vacation. I half ass tracked and got the WI I earned from doing so. Luckily it was partially salt/water as I’m now back down to a gain of only .5 which makes more sense. I knew I’d over eaten and under tracked, but I didn’t think it was nearly 3lbs worth of actual fat. Knew I hadn’t been drinking nearly enough and am now back into my routine which will help.
Also wouldn’t change a bite of what I ate. Chocolate peanut butter brownie, homemade guacamole and chips and a local ice-cream place . . . → Keep Going: back on track
By Cari, on June 3rd, 2010% Had another gain this week and I’m not totally surprised because a) chocolate truffle dessert and peanut butter cup flurry and b) holy swollen hands. It’s “B” that bothers me the most because I have no idea what did it. Since IDing my sodium culprit a couple of weeks ago I have been very careful about labels, but there’s something hiding somewhere.
I missed my WI on Tuesday because I was traveling and when I weighed in on Wednesday I knew I’d be up in part due to a sodium bomb of a non-Subway sub for dinner on the bus . . . → Keep Going: Sodium, I hate you
By Cari, on May 19th, 2010% 10 weeks, really? Totally doesn’t feel that long. Can someone tell me where the first half of 2010 has gone?
So I WI this morning after yesterday’s scale debacle. I tried yesterday and it read EE. I knew I might have gained some this week, but it wasn’t 120lbs to keep me from being able to be weighed. New batteries and everything was AOK. Except the number.
Not going to lie, was somewhat bummed to see a gain. I know that’s not PC around here and we’re supposed to know that gains happen. Well they might – but they still . . . → Keep Going: week 10, first gain
