Weigh In: February 24

Weekly Loss: 0.5 lbs

Total Loss: 11.1 lbs

A loss is a loss. Yeah, I’ll parrot the official loss of any loss is a good thing, but this week has been bizarre. The scale has been all over the place for two reasons: a little too much eating out and a touch of the stomach flu. Plus, the cold is finally? gone and I have my appetite back.

I made good choices while eating out but holy crap, restaurant food is salty. I am still tracking (down to the 5 chips I ate at the restaurant) so I know the . . . → Keep Going: Weigh In: February 24

back on track

last week was a wonderful and well-earned vacation. I half ass tracked and got the WI I earned from doing so. Luckily it was partially salt/water as I’m now back down to a gain of only .5 which makes more sense. I knew I’d over eaten and under tracked, but I didn’t think it was nearly 3lbs worth of actual fat. Knew I hadn’t been drinking nearly enough and am now back into my routine which will help.

Also wouldn’t change a bite of what I ate. Chocolate peanut butter brownie, homemade guacamole and chips and a local ice-cream place . . . → Keep Going: back on track

Sodium, I hate you

Had another gain this week and I’m not totally surprised because a) chocolate truffle dessert and peanut butter cup flurry and b) holy swollen hands. It’s “B” that bothers me the most because I have no idea what did it. Since IDing my sodium culprit a couple of weeks ago I have been very careful about labels, but there’s something hiding somewhere.

I missed my WI on Tuesday because I was traveling and when I weighed in on Wednesday I knew I’d be up in part due to a sodium bomb of a non-Subway sub for dinner on the bus . . . → Keep Going: Sodium, I hate you
