Weekend success

Weekend. Success. Those are two words that I never thought would go together.

Weekends are and have always been my downfall. Not that I would undo all my good progress but I certainly could have done better if I didn’t fall into calorie and salt vats each weekend. Since I re-started this journey on 28 January, I have had some very good weekends. Not perfect, but much better than in the past. Even the days that involved diner-sized pancakes and turkey burgers were tracked and I’ve had as many days at/below calories than over. Well below, actually. I think I found my sodium culprit

1,830 mg in a Subway foot long turkey sandwich?!?!? Holy shit.

In addition to the giant pretzel I had at the Yankee game on Sunday I had Subway for dinner Sunday and linner/dunch on Monday. No wonder I was retaining water. I won’t give up the sandwiches because I like them too much, but clearly not for Sunday, Monday any more.

Either that or I move my WI day because they’re a weekend staple for me.

APs, WPs and Weight Loss

A follow up from this post, I’ve updated the chart with this week’s loss. The more I think about it, the more my weight loss seems to be tied with whether or not I was OP on the night before WI. The last two weeks I haven’t been, and I wonder if that’s why the weight loss is less – the food still in my stomach?
