White Christmas: 2002

We had it all for Christmas: rain sleet hail and finally SNOW!

10 inches and counting as of 8:30 PM or so

Clicking on the thumbnail will take you to the full size (800x600). Be warned that the full sized images average about 70K apiece with the exception of the last which is 104K.

And these were taken on the 26th:

(138K) Starting out this AM. Dad isn't allowed to shovel so he is relegated to brooming off the cars. Yes, with a broom. There is far too much snow to use a snow brush.

A bad one of me but it shows just how much snow there is down at the river becuase that's where they push all the snow from the street when they plow.

Storm damage--self explanatory

Not sure if you can tell with the pic but we're waiting for AAA as the Spruce Moose got stuck and is over the edge of the driveway. It's front wheel drive (supposedly) but there is zero traction.

Edit: Triple A came and the guy was able to 'rock' it out. The first pic is in progress and the second is of the muddy gash after the van came loose.

Think this would scare some people? ;) (77K)

Any other white Christmases to report?
